1.) On your computer, go to Avast login page via link https://my.avast.com.
2.) Once you are on the Avast Login page, click on the “Can’t access your account?” option. You will be directed to next page where you will be prompted to enter your email address.
3.) Enter your email address in the provided field and click on the Send button. You will receive an email to the email address entered by you.
NOTE: If you are prompted with a message that reads “This email address does not exist in our system”, it means that the email address entered by you is not associated with any Avast account.
4.) Next, you will need to log into the email account and open the email you receive from Avast. Click on the password reset link given in the email. You will be directed to the next page for resetting your new password for the Avast account.
5.) Now, you will simply need to enter your new password in the prompted fields and click on the Change password button. You will receive a success notification on your screen when your password for the Avast account will be changed. Then, you will be directed to your Avast account.
NOTE:
When creating a new password, make sure that it’s a strong one. Try using a combination of alphabets, numbers, and special characters (if allowed). Also, make sure that you don’t use the same password for any other account.
